This is an exciting 5 days Safari to three iconic and landmark attractions in Uganda namely; Lake Mburo National Park, Queen Elizabeth National Park and Bwindi National Park. The safari begins with Lake Mburo National Park; a home to 350 bird species as well as 68 mammal species offering game exciting drives in a network of game tracks with a variety of landscape with wildlife in abundance .Other tourist activities include bird watching, hiking and nature walks , boat  rides , panoramic sightseeing  among others. Our second destination is Queen Elizabeth, which is understandably Uganda’s most popular tourist destination with diverse ecosystems making it ideal habitat for classic big game, ten primate species including chimpanzees and over 600 species of birds. Banks of Kazinga Channel and Ishasha plains host a variety of wildlife explored by launch  cruise and game drives respectively. A tour of Bwindi National park involves various adventure activities that include gorilla tracking, bird watching and nature walks. Bwindi is home to almost a half of the world’s population of mountain gorillas. There are also 346 species of birds and over 200 species of butterflies. Explore the culture of the local Bakiga and Batwa communities with village walks, blacksmith visits, craft shops and vibrant dances – all against the astounding backdrop of the forest-covered hills of Bwindi.

Kampala – Lake Mburo National Park

Early morning pick up from your hotel then drive south-westwards with a stop at the equator to Lake Mburo National Park. This is the only park in Uganda with an entire lake from which it derives its name. Upon arrival, proceed for a boat ride on Lake Mburo then return to your accommodation for lunch. The duration of each boat ride is 2 hours maximum.After lunch, proceed for an afternoon game drive. Lake Mburo has various wildlife tracks including Impala track, Zebra track, Ruroko track, Lakeside track and The Kazuma track, all which expose you to various wildlife species and diverse sceneries.  For visitors to experience a real exposure of Lake Mburo National Park, they should climb Kazuma hill, which is high enough to enable them to see what they could have missed. The five lakes within the park and the rolling hills become more visible and attractive. The park has a diversity of water birds and woodland birds which can be sighted along these tracks. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Lake Mburo National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park 

We have a morning game walk and drive in Lake Mburo before driving to Queen Elizabeth National Park.   Upon arrival at Queen Elizabeth in the afternoon, we check in our accommodation for lunch then proceed for boat ride along the  Kazinga  channel . The Kazinga Channel separates Lake Edward and Lake George. The Kazinga Channel is an oasis for many of the fascinating species that inhabit the park, and taking a boat tour along it gives visitors the chance to cruise just meters from hundreds of enormous hippos and buffalos while elephants linger on the shoreline. The rest of the afternoon spend in the game tracks searching for the game. Dinner and overnight at your accommodation.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi National Park

After breakfast and check out from our accommodation, we proceed to Ishasha sector of Queen Elizabeth for game drives in search for the tree climbing lions. We then head south to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to approximately half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas arriving late in the evening at our accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This morning you will have to wake up very early for breakfast and to get ready for the most thrilling activity of Gorilla tracking! Gorilla tracking in Bwindi can be challenging, therefore ensure fitness. Report at the ranger station at 8:00am with your lunch boxes and all the necessary gear where the guides will take you to track the rare Mountain Gorilla, perhaps one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. Gorilla tracking in Bwindi can take between a few hours or the whole day depending on the group that is being tracked. The guides describe the surroundings and the lifestyle of the animals in depth. After tracking, you can relax at your accommodation or go for a guided village walk to visit the Local Batwa Community returning in time for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: Bwindi National Park – Kampala 

We head back through Uganda’s lush scenery to the capital city of Kampala, where the tour ends.
