This is one of the most unique wilderness adventure holiday experiences in Kenya. This 8 days  Kenyan vacation is filled with unforgettable memories to amazing tourist destinations beginning with Samburu Game Reserve, which offers an evocative cocktail of uniquely contrasting habitats and abundant wildlife .Our next destination is Lake Nakuru National Park , dominated by a gentle rolling terrain with open bush and woodlands, typical of the dry rift valley vegetation and famous for the 1.5 million-strong population of Lesser Flamingo and a sanctuary for black and white rhinos among other wildlife. Heading further south is Lake Naivasha, a freshwater lake and a renowned world class birding destination. The lake is home to a variety of wildlife with large hippo populations sleeping the day out in the shallow waters.Our safari ends with Maasai Mara Game Reserve; the site of one of the most spectacular phenomenon of the natural world -the great annual wildebeest migration distinguished as one of the “New Seven Wonders of the World”, and a unique world heritage

Day 1: Airport Pick up – Transfer to Nairobi City Hotel

Upon arrival in Nairobi (flight details to be provided), you will be welcomed and picked up by our representative at the airport and transferred to your Nairobi hotel for overnight stay.

 Day 2: Nairobi – Samburu Game Reserve
Depart Nairobi in the Morning by road to Samburu Game Reserve located at the North rugged Semi desert region. Samburu Game Reserve is a wild and little visited region, well known for spectacular scenery and wildlife not found in the south: Reticulated Giraffe, the rare Grevy’s Zebra with its large furry ears, the Gerenuk antelope standing on its hind legs to feed and Somali Ostriches with their distinctive blue legs. Lunch upon arrival at your lodge then proceed on a game drive.

Day 3: Samburu National Reserve
Full day in Samburu with morning and afternoon game drives. You may see Elephant, Cheetah, Leopard, Eland, Oryx, Impala, Dikdik, Waterbuck and a variety of birds. This lava plain includes a varied landscape of red dirt, thorn scrub, broken volcanic rock, dried riverbeds, steep hills and rocky outcroppings. Following the river’s curves, a forest of Doum Palms, Acacia and Tamarind is a magical contrast of cool green. Other areas of the Reserve include the Uaso Nyiro River where crocodiles sun bath themselves on the banks. It also provides an oasis for a variety of game. Birds are abundant, with 365 species recorded, one for every day of the year. In between the game drives, there is an opportunity to visit a Samburu village at an additional cost.

Day 4: Samburu Game Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart after breakfast and proceed to Lake Nakuru National Park arriving in time for lunch. Relax before departing for an afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru’s claim to fame is anchored on its flamingo’s and the over 400 species of birds found here. The lake itself is a soda lake on the floor of the rift valley. The sight of millions of flamingos is quite spectacular. From a distance, the lake appears ringed in pink. The Lake has also earned a reputation as an important haven for endangered species- particularly the Rothschild Giraffe and the Black and white Rhino. Lions, Waterbuck, Buffalo and Baboons are all residents here.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru National Park  – Lake Naivsaha

We drive through the scenic pastoral countryside to Lake Navaisha. We arrive in time for lunch at our accommodation by the lake and take an optional boat ride. Alternatively, a nature walk at Crescent Island is an excellent way to see wild animals while on foot. The Island is a private game sanctuary, which is home to zebra, wildebeest, gazelle, Vervet monkeys, hares, genet cats, waterbuck and giraffe. Or you may wish to lounge by the pool admiring the view of zebras, Giraffes and waterbuck just outside the fence.

Day 6: Lake Naivasha – Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Depart Lake Naivasha for Masai Mara Game Reserve – jewel of Kenya’s Game Park. This enormous Reserve actually part of the vast Serengeti plains is famously known for its spectacular great wildebeest migration and is a true home of the big five-Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Rhino and Cape Buffalo. Upon arrival, lunch will follow. After lunch, explore the reserve on a late evening game drive. In the evening, relax around the camp/lodge fire before an excellent dinner.

Day 7: Maasai Mara Game Reserve
We spend a full day in the Masai Mara on morning and afternoon game drives. The trees in the distance might turn out to be a family of Giraffes. Those clump of bushes a pride of Lions, and the rock that moves a Rhino lumbering out of your way. With diligence and some luck, you may encounter a family of Cheetahs, or a herd of Elephants crossing the path in front of you. Large animals are not the only entertainment – a family of warthogs may amuse you, running as fast as their little legs will carry them, until they forget why they are rushing and stop to regroup.

 Day 8: Masai Mara Game Reserve – Nairobi
Opportunity to fly over the Mara in a Hot air Balloon at an extra cost. The balloon package includes a champagne breakfast in the wild! This is an unforgettable experience. Morning game drive is also available. After breakfast, return by road to Nairobi arriving early afternoon.
